The week that was

And with a blink of an eye that was the week. Whoa, I don't know where it went, but boy it flew past!  It's school holidays and we're off for a family weekend away, out of phone range, internet range and general modern technology. I'm pretty excited as it forces me to 'disconnect' (not always an easy task) and allows us all to smell the roses and hang out old school style.
So in the week that was I thought I'd share a few things that took my fancy...and I will completely credit Jen Cooper at Classic Play for this borrowed idea, as I have about 10 minutes to blog before I pack the bags for the farm...

This week I loved...

1. A table and chairs for the kids to scribble on.

2. I dream of dressing my boys in these threads.

3. In search of a kid friendly movie? Try these tips.

4. Who will write a version for boys?

5. I've always wondered what these beds were called.

And for any avid readers, I wrote a post on the Fullers Bookshop kids blog yesterday with some handy tips for older readers. Next week it's Roald Dahl Day and I got all handy with a pen and a window...

Have a great weekend everyone x
