Musical Youth - CD review

It's always great fun opening the post box to find a treat for us to review. This time round we received a new CD, The Ultimate Kids Collection from ABC music and Universal Music. Aha I said, with these two names involved, I can guess we're probably in for some nursery rhymes and movie chimes. Three CD's worth in fact, and although the boys enjoyed listening to the old classics of their toddlerhood, I have been subjected treated to CD #3 on repeat - in the car, in the living room, first thing in the morning, and for after some dinner entertainment. Just imagine, Who Let the Dogs Out, followed by Summer Holiday (sadly not sung by Cliff), a little bit of YMCA with a sprinkling of Somewhere over the Rainbow... get the picture?
OK so these golden oldies might be reminding me of my squirmy pre-adolescence but to watch the boys rock out, cut loose and express some moves that many TV dance shows could only dream of choreographing, I'll put my personal taste to bed and hit the floor with the boys instead.
