Alphabet Stones

Need a project for school holidays? Ok then. Get outdoors, go exploring and find some nice round stones. Maybe about 26 of them. Grab yourself some paint, a brush and your singing voice. Sit around the table. Invite your sister, your brother, your parents, your friends.
Paint each letter onto a separate stone. Varnish them if you want - give yourself a shiny ABC, now come along and sing with me...

These are beautiful! My boys painted a whole lot of rocks recently and then my two year old threw them out amongst our thousands of others on the front path - although I was a bit surprised, it's nice to find them occasionally in amongst all the others. If they were as lovely as these ones I'd have had to go and fish them all out!
