I ran out of pre Christmas days to post this cute as pie craft activity from our creative cool-cat Emma. I still think its a treat and reminds me of what I could have done with my old Lenten jar. In my younger days, my sister and I would give up chocolate bars and stash them away in old Nescafe jars, until Easter finally allowed an unhindered chocolate frenzy - what fun we could have had adorning these sacred items, idolising them even more than we did without a pom pom or googly eye! All you need to do is alter the colour theme and this little project is good to go!
poms poms in white and red
(all of these items can be found at Spotlight or similar craft shops)
Making the lolly jars:
Get the glue gun out and start glueing! Make sure you supervise closely as the glue gun gets super hot.
Lastly fill with lollies or shortbread, ours are to decorate the kids
Christmas craft table with, but they would also make great home made Christmas gifts!
